2. What Data We Collect and Why
Candidates
- Identity & contact: name, email, phone, location.
- Professional: CV, work history, education, skills, LinkedIn profile.
- Assessment: interview notes, screening results.
- Correspondence: emails and messages with our team.
Legal basis: Pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interests in matching candidates with vacancies (Art. 6(1)(f)). Talent pool: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Clients (companies and their contacts)
- Name, job title, business email, business phone.
- Contract data and commercial correspondence.
Legal basis: Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Freelancers and contractors
Name, contact details, tax ID, banking details, contracts, invoices, performance data. Legal basis: Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations - tax/accounting (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Website visitors
IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps - collected via cookies. Legal basis: Consent for non-essential cookies (Art. 6(1)(a)); legitimate interests for strictly necessary cookies (Art. 6(1)(f)). See Section 7.
3. How Long We Keep Your Data

Data is securely deleted or anonymised after the applicable period.
4. Who We Share Data With
- Client companies - candidate CVs shared only for specific active vacancies, with the candidate's knowledge.
- Technology service providers (CRM, email, cloud storage) - bound by data processing agreements.
- Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) - only as strictly necessary.
- Authorities - only when legally required.
We do not sell personal data.
5. International Transfers
Where we transfer data outside the EEA we do so under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission, or on the basis of an adequacy decision. For more information: legal@stratossearch.com.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to: access your data · correct it · erase it · restrict processing · portability · object to processing · withdraw consent at any time. Contact: legal@stratossearch.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the AEPD: www.aepd.es.

8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: access controls, TLS encryption, confidentiality obligations for all staff and contractors, and breach response procedures. In the event of a breach likely to affect your rights, we notify the AEPD within 72 hours and affected individuals without undue delay.
